Five of our athletes competed at the Bitwa o Poznań MMA tournament: Michał Grynienko, Michał Murawski, Bogdan Matevosyan, Eliasz Kleszczewski and Konrad Szuter.
It was the first competition in our club's history. Two athletes reached the podium in the Senior First Step MMA division up to 70 kg: Konrad Szuter took first place and Eliasz Kleszczewski finished third.
More than 140 athletes from Poland and other countries entered the tournament. The standard of competition was very high, and the winner earned a semi-professional bout at a professional event.
We thank all the athletes for representing our club and the town of Lubsko with pride, as well as coach Paweł Szaja for preparing them for the competition.
