On 30 May 2026, Lions Fight Lubsko athletes took part in the 1st Lubuskie Province Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships organised by Movement Brothers Szprotawa. We would like to thank the organisers for the invitation and an excellently prepared tournament.
Our club was represented by coach Dawid Powroźniak, Eliasz Kleszczewski, Paweł Kaniowski, Natan Dratwiński, Antoni Powroźniak, Leon Powroźniak, Jagoda Rytczak and Bogdan Matevosyan.
Special recognition goes to Paweł Kaniowski, who refused to submit during a very difficult bout against a demanding and experienced opponent. He lost on points, but showed tremendous fighting spirit and unbreakable character.
Jagoda Rytczak took first place. Dawid Powroźniak, Natan Dratwiński and Antoni Powroźniak finished second. Eliasz Kleszczewski and Leon Powroźniak claimed third place.
We thank coaches Dominik Rałowiec and Karol Rytczak for their help and support from the corner, as well as coach Paweł Szaja for his mental support. The tournament is over, but we are not slowing down and continue to work.
