Last weekend was an important one for our athletes. Together with coaches Paweł Szaja and Dominik Rałowiec, they competed at Poland's largest amateur MMA event, which attracted more than 1,000 athletes.
It was a time full of emotion, laughter, uncertainty while the decisions were being announced and enormous joy after every victory. We are bringing a silver medal won by Eliasz Kleszczewski back to Lubsko.
Konrad Szuter and Kamil Murawski came close to bronze and ultimately finished fourth. Dawid Powroźniak won his first bout by submission before losing to an accomplished athlete from Ukraine. Nikodem Dratwiński and Miłosz Stefański also won their opening fights.
No one returns defeated — everyone brings home a lesson from the experience. We draw conclusions, return to the mat and keep getting better.
